One to Watch: Christina Economou

Christina Economou is an Athens based designer whose classic yet trendy designs are making a huge splash in the fashion industry. In 2013 Economou launched her contemporary luxury brand after attending Parsons in Paris and Marangoni shortly after that.

Economou has been recognized by Forbes (30 under 30 in Europe) and even won the International Award at London Graduate Fashion Week in 2011. I could go on and on about her accolades but lets talk more about her designs. The first element in Economou's collection that caught my eye were the simple classic silhouettes of her designs. Classic is never going out style but Economou has found a way to incorporate bold prints and textures with classic silhouettes that are flattering on almost any woman's body type.

At just 26 years of age, Christina Economou has gained the world's attention. Her accomplishments at such a young age are a testament that age should not be a factor when it comes to dreaming big and accomplishing one's goals.
